::Went today. Visit every time we visit son. Husband had fish and chips as usual. Reckon best he has had. I had chicken bacon and avacado sandwich with chips. Big portion have just had second half of sandwich for evening meal after driving home.

::Great for a local night out. Always lively and comfortable if you can get a seat! Bar staff attentive, cheery and well mannered. I love the outdoor seating area, great place to sit in the summer. Cannot comment on food as I havent eaten here.

::A lovely place with fantastic friendly staff. Unfortunately there was a power cut just before we arrived so sadly we couldn't be served food, gutted after making the reservation weeks ago and looking forward to it but there was nothing that could be done! At least the bar could serve us drinks and were able to deduct the bill from our deposit. Staff were very friendly and informative throughout, all very apologetic even though it was out of their control. Will have to make a reservation sometime when the power doesn't go out!

::Whitby Chara - had an amazing two days with my friend and everyone on this coach trip, the staff from the Elephant were first class, nothing too much trouble, looked after everyone. The boat trip was an experience never to be forgotten, hope someone on the quayside videoed it, as it was a one off. The food and drink were in abundance. The disco in the evening was a real blast, everyone let their hair down and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Lovely touch that Simon and his dance partner from strictly made the time to come to the evening meal. Can't thank my friend enough for treating me as my birthday gift, and the Elephant staff and friends were the best. Would highly recommend everyone to try and get on the next Chara (wherever it may go, you'll have a great time).

::Das Restaurant für Fish and Chips. Hat auch über Mittag auf. Riesiges und sehr gutes Stück Fisch. Freundlicher Service. Parkieren am besten bei Sainsbury's neben an. Auch der Espresso Martini ist zu empfehlen...
