  Great place for a carvery. Also has a nice small selection of other meals including pizzas. Staff are always helpful and food is always tasty. The last time I visited the car park was packed which suggested no room inside but this wasn't the case. Sat down straight away. So even if it looks too busy nip in and ask. Great selection of drinks too. Family's welcome.

  Typical carvery, nice food, nice atmosphere was very busy even when we went at 6pm for our Sunday Dinner. Plenty of other choice if you don't want carvery.

  Unfortunately I have to put a star to be able to put a review on. If I didn't it wouldn't be getting any. The meat on the carvery was more fat and a bit of meat. I had to take my first lot back to which the guy was pulling his face. No broccoli, no cauliflower, no mashed potatoes, disgusting mushy peas that were just watery not mushy! Gravy tasted bland,no flavour and it was very runny. Food aside, service was not great. The guy behind the bar was miserable, the carvery guy was miserable. And as for carvery etiquette,I amongst the rest of the family like to get our meat and just a small portion of the veg and potatoes so as to not waste food and so we can see what's on the plate and then return for a few more potatoes etc but today we were told that this is not allowed and we were not supposed to go up for a second helping . If we had been informed of this at the start (it doesn't state it anywhere) then we would have filled our plates more the first time around or gone elsewhere. All in all, a pretty poor performance for what was supposed to be a nice family get together meal. The Italian side are adamant we are not returning here again.
