  Nice little pub. Used to be a friendly traditional pub with board games and great atmosphere. Now it's just a generic little gastro pub.

  Tasty Sunday roast lamb dinner and a good choice of well cared for ales in a traditional pub surrounding. Well done team Griffin. Thanks for a great Sunday afternoon.

  Great little pub selling good selection of beers and local ciders. Friendly staff. Although not used it myself have spoken to customers who were staying B&B that it was very good as well. Food well worth trying as well.

  Really like this pub. I like the decor, very bright and positive looking inside. Pleasant to drink in, staff are friendly and welcoming and will have a chat with you. Drink choice is decent and don't mind spending a bit more to drink somewhere nicer. Not far of queen and is pretty much in the city centre so the location is good.

  Nice little pub with a local feel yet so close to the town centre. Impressive range of beers. Went for a Christmas menu on dinner with friends. Christmas pudding was great, beef was good, g hosts cheese down leaked flavour. Good value at £18 for 3 courses.
