  A very lovely hotel! Dated but well kept decor. Really nice and professional staff. Clean bathroom. Beds could be better, pressure on the shower was low in the morning, I imagine because everyone else was showing too. Plenty tea and coffee in the room, good breakfast in the morning (cereals, cooked, juices, fruit etc). Good value.

  Very clean hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel dated and could do with refurb inside. Lift is small, and if some one forgets to close the double door, it will not work.

  I've stayed several times at this hotel, obviously I love it .....as I keep coming back. Comfy beds , excellent food, ( lovely home cooked ample evening meals & breakfast....a diverse selection every day,) and friendly staff....nothing too much trouble. Family owned Hotel so customer satisfaction is 5 star at all times. I usually stay as a "single traveller" & a great advantage is I do not get charged a single supplement here, as most other hotels can 'bump' up the price if staying alone. Staying again at New year & if possible I would stay again In early December as a super pre Christmas break is on offer at the Headlands..sadly work does not allow. Excellent position on the South Promenade , a nice park opposite & the tram and bus stop directly across the road from the Hotel. ..so because of the Hotels position...never any queues for transport. Free Car Park and a bonus in this hotel there is a Lift. Try the Headlands I promise you will not be disappointed.

  Cosy hotel, with excellent staff. Food very good, rooms very clean. Just a really pleasant friendly hotel to visit. Joe

  Great location for pleasure beach and south shore. Close to bus and tram stops. Rooms a bit dated, but okay. Mostly friendly staff. Food only average.
