  We had lunch here. It was underwhelming and overpriced. I'd much rather walk down the road and eat at the Crown (pub) which had way more options, had nicer tasting food and was way cheaper!

  Great place for lunch, dinner or just drinks. Great staff, brilliant selection of Gin's if thats your thing. We have been a few times now and enjoyed it every time. Prices are a little high but that is to be expected with the status of its owner.

  So disappointed. Had wanted to go here for a while, and when I finally did it certainly didn't live up to the expectation. Shame really. There was nothing special original or theatrical about any of the dishes, aside from perhaps the quaver snacks. It cost us about £450 for 4 people. I know for sure we get better value elsewhere at either other 1* places or just other solid pubs. Orwells, Pony and Trap etc. If you're in to food, save your money and eat elsewhere. Cheers.

  Food very good, Oxtail and kidney pud wonderful, service could have been a little more prompt but maybe they were just a bit overwhelmed by too many parties arriving close together. Well worth a visit. JM

  The most amazing and delicious food we've had in a long time. Beautifully presented and served, and the taste was out of this world. There was only one choice on the lunch menu, and we were not entirely convinced it was what we wanted, but wow. Just incredible. Would definitely go again, highly recommended, just superb.
