  Hayley and her family do an incredible job at The Hollies Guest House. They provide everything you could wish for and their hospitality is second to none. A lovely warm welcome, well appointed and cozy rooms and it’s a pleasure to stay. Not far from the City Centre, plenty of nice places to dine out nearby. The breakfast is first class and I’m happy to say we will definitely be staying again next time we visit York..... 5 Stars. Mark & Donna Knott xxx 👍🏻🎄❤️

  We have just returned after a lovely stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and equipped for all our needs. Hayley the landlady was lovely. Breakfast was just what you'd expect with lots to choose from. We love York so will deffinetly stay there again.

  The bed was very comfortable and the room suited our needs perfectly as a base to explore York. It's about a 30-45 minute walk into the city. My only issue was with the hand shower - water pressure was awful and would have preferred a power shower instead. The owner was lovely and very helpful with directions. Thoroughly recommended.

  Sorry to say but the lady came across as really patronising. And not great at giving the correct advice on the actual distance into York. Rooms ok though and we didn't have breakfast so not sure about the food.
