  Great food especially the lamb curry. We booked and arrived early. Service was quick and efficient with helpful and friendly waiters. Within 15 min it was full.

  I love this place for lunch. I regular have the vegetarian options. The lunch menu is very small but perfectly formed. I can be in and out with hot food to take back to my desk in less time than it takes in Subway. Really fast food. The samosa and curry all taste beautiful and the accompaniments really enhance the dish. The service is friendly and helpful. My lunch is less than £5, warm, filling and ready almost immediately. I really love this place. I have been in the evening and they do an extend menu which is also very good. Their cocktail menu is fun and adds to the experience.

  We went on a quiet Tuesday night in January. We had booked, but you didn't need to, as there were plenty of tables. The staff are really friendly and guided us to just the right amount of food. Everything we ordered was delicious and it would be hard to pick a favourite dish, as they were all excellent. It was lovely and warm in there, which is what you want in January. The decor was interesting and the toilets were spotless. They did play a lot of Ed Sheeran, but with food that good I guess you can't have everything. We will be back.

  Had a brilliant meal last night at The Indian Streatery in Birmingham. This is a fantastic family owned restaurant where they serve good home cooked Indian food just as they would eat themselves at home, which incidentally they do. They don’t serve curries that are laced with chillies which usually destroy your tastebuds and give you that (as Johnny Cash sang about) ‘burning ring of fire’ the next day. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any of you who are in the area. I absolutely love Indian food and can’t wait to go back. It was well worth the trip and overnight stay. Look out for the painting of the Indian Elephant, might be difficult to spot.

  Visited on a busy Thursday night and had a mix of the street food dishes and larger curry dishes. All were brilliant- fresh, unique and full of flavor. The best Indian food I've eaten. Highly recommend. Added bonus is free parking around the corner after 7:30pm! This is one of those 'hot new openings' that has created a lot of noise on the food scene in Birmingham and it definitely lives up to the reputation. Nailed it with the decor, vibe and most importantly the food.
