Great food. Quite pricey. Beer selection isn't my cup of tea at all...some decent craft beers and imports would turn it around. Atmosphere and building superb and garden is wonderful.

Lovely room decorated to a high standard. Food menu had several options and the meal we had was very good. Owners and staff were very friendly.

Great Christmas dinner. Lovely country pub atmosphere. The skittles alley downstairs was fun. A good variety of drinks. Not cheap.

Arrived about 13:30 Monday. Ordered a glass of Pinot , waitress came back to ask me to make another choice as they didn't have it. Ordered main course, arrived promptly and tasted very good. Finished our main, waited for the waitress to clear away our dirty plates. She came into room ten minutes later and looked at our empty plates.Twenty minutes later and with our dirty plates still in front of us my husband went up to the bar and asked for the desserts menu. Ten minutes later took menu back to bar and ordered desserts. Five minutes later waiter returned to inform us that my choice was not available, in fact the two top desserts were not available. Gave up and paid after waiting a long time for a dessert that they didn't have, having gone up to the bar twice and paid a ten percent service charge for the privilege. Food was good but service poor.

I've been to the Kings Head a number of times and I've always been quite pleased. I like the beer selection. The pizzas are delicious and the soups are absolutely wonderful. There is a very nice outdoor garden for the warmer days and a wood stove for cooler days. A very nice place. I highly recommend it.
