  Very smart location serving excellent afternoon tea and cakes, ideal if you want to completely splash out on luxury for 2 hours (i.e. for the wife's birthday).

  Every part of my experience at The Milestone exceeded my very high expectations. I was worried that the staff would be able to sniff out that I was staying at a hotel way above my usual class, but the were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. My fiancee and I felt absolutely pampered. From the valet, to the concierge's dinner recommendations and subsequent reservations, to our complimentary room upgrade and hand-delivered treats. They even snuck in to place rose petals, candles, chocolates, and champagne when I mentioned that I would be proposing to my then girlfriend during our stay. I desperately hope to be able to return to this wonderful hotel.

  The room was beautiful and the customer service was phenomenal! There is a reason that this hotel is priced so highly, but I can assure you that not a single pound you spend there goes to waste. The food was also fantastic! You get wonderful homemade cookies and champagne waiting for you in your room, a delicious breakfast buffet, and we even had warm biscuits with clotted cream and jam delivered to our door unrequested before dinner. My only complaint was that our King bed was actually two small beds pushed together, which really was only frustrating because they each had separate sets of sheets. It made sharing the large bed feel somewhat pointless. That aside, my night at the Milestone Hotel will likely remain one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.
