  In a nice area opposite Hampton court and right on the river. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but unbelievably hot with no air-conditioning. The reception staff were very polite and helpful

  Parking was ok ish had to hand my keys into staff at reception as double parked..not happy on handing them in on 67 plate tuscon however the main part of hotel was lovely and room was spacious..however half an hour with a broom and jet wash could be greatly needed in the run down forgotten a out courtyard at the back of our rooms. The courtyard that can be seen as you walk to the restaurant is spotless. If I had a broom I would have done it myself. Breakfast was good and the stay was ok

  Friendly staff, nice views, peaceful environment. Free parking was non existent, and the breakfast was not good. The 1st floor smelt of damp.

  On arrival booked 2 rooms with early check in. None were ready and the customer service of the staff was not to any high standard Told by one member that I should call them to see if available still( I was supposed to have known that the person wanted a late check out day before) in my response I believe this is down to the staff and not the customer. Apart from 2 members of staff low customer service,other staff were friendly. Breakfast could be a little hotter as by time sat down with it everything was cold! Rooms are ok but in need of an upgrade. I always know not to believe what I see on some hotel websites aren't always the same photo, Photoshop is a wonderful thing :) All In all good situated Hampton court across the road,train station 5 mins away too. Would give it a 4 /5 but staffs attitude on arrival was the reason for low score.

  A lovely hotel with lots of character and directly opposite Hampton Court Palace. I was in room 308 - views over the river. Huge room and I really liked that it had a fridge, safe and coffee machine. I'm only giving it 4 stars as I had to check out at 0600 and there was no provision for an early breakfast and the plug sockets weren't ideally placed next to the bed.
