::Not the best carvery. Crammed in a bit with the seating. Staff are excellent

::Great atmosphere and a good range of beers. Able to watch football and rugby in the same pub!

::Dropped on here for the first time having heard good reports of the carvery. It certainly lived up to its reputation. Staff were pleasant and argentine without being intrusive but the star of the show was definately the food. Lots of choice with starters for about £5 or £6 and then mains from £10 upwards. The carvery option was about £14,but worth every penny. Very generous helpings and the veg was fresh and well cooked. Would certainly recommend and we will be back.

::The Beer: Yep. The beer is good and they have a nice clean pint glass for you to enjoy your delicious beverage. The Food: The food was pretty good. We had Sunday roast there. Some of the meat was a little dry, but it tasted fine. The Ambiance: I REALLY liked how the building is partitioned. The bar is immediately on the left as you walk in, and the restaurant is straight ahead. The bar is separate from the restaurant allowing for bar shenanigans without disturbing the feasters. Seating in the bar area was a bit tight, but I found this is a common theme in England...
