  Stayed here when getting ready to go into hospital for surgery nearby. The room was clean and comfortable with a hot shower, towels, coffee and tea and a TV. It also has Wi-Fi access in the rooms. Also had several meals during this stay and everything was delicious and good value. Great fish and chips with crispy batter. Staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a popular little pub and gets fairly busy at times so keep this in mind. My one criticism is that their is limited parking.

  JUST BEEN FOR A MEAL ..EXCELLENT SERVICE OFF A yOUNG LADY ...meal was fantastic great value for money .carnt wait to call back again ..thanks Mr wainwright

  Attend the Saturday night quiz. Great atmosphere, bar well stocked and staffed. Great selection of lager,beer and hand pulled ale. Responsible prices too. Heard great things about the food but am yet to eat there, certainly have the intention in the future though. Toilets clean with handsoap and working hand dryer which is always a good sign in my opinion.
