  Fab place to eat & very reasonable too. 16 of us went for a surprise 40th birthday meal tonight & really enjoyed the foo. The staff are great too 👏

  Went for a mother’s day meal.. booked a table for 7, when we arrived they couldn’t find our name so they made a table for us (even though the place was empty). Then we ordered drinks which took 10 minutes to come. After this we went to look at the specials menu to be told they had no gammon, no rump steak,no pizzas, no burgers so the menu was very limited. We proceeded to order our meals as the rest of our party had arrived by now so we ordered more drinks (10 minute wait again)! The food took around 20 minutes to arrive which is acceptable if it arrived correctly. One meal had no sides, one had no sauce.. All which had been stated on the menu. So we all had our meals in front of us but now but NO CUTLERY!! We asked the waitress for some sauces and cutlery and informed her of the missing items. By the time she had come back to the table I had already eaten my chips and she only came back with cutlery.. Nothing else we had asked for! Further to this the whole experience was just awful. The sirloin steak which 2 of us had was flavourless, no seasoning at all and just tasted plain, so much so that another meal was ordered in its place. Would not recommend! 2 stars given as a few of us enjoyed our meal.

  Food was tasty and the serving was sufficient, but the service was awful. Had to hunt down someone to order our mains and they then completely ignored us. We'd intended to order dessert but they just left us sitting there until we ran out of time and gave up. It was really empty too, so not as if they were run off their feet. Disappointing.
