  A real home from home experience. Great staff, food and welcome from Jane and her team. Nothing is too much trouble. I stay a lot and eat here lots. Always excellent. Except Molly

  Great place to stay, breakfast was filling and evening meals are large. Bar area with fire very cosy

  The room I stayed in (and I would imagine all rooms) was very dated (dark woods,red curtains) and unfortunately was right beside a noisy extractor fan (for the kitchen,I believe) which started up around 7 - so if like me you are a light sleeper, don't accept room 6! Aside from the style of the room,I would say I found the bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom (shower was quite lacking in water pressure) were both very clean I didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on the food Staff that I came into contact with were pleasant and helpful, but I found being unable to have a drink when I came in the hotel at 1030 unnaceptable, I feel as a hotel guest you should at the Very least expect drinks service until 11pm All in all,the positives of the pleasant staff and clean room just about outweigh the negatives 😊

  Jane, thank you for making my wedding day so special. The bedrooms were fantastic, the Christmas decorations in the Hotel made my day so wonderful. The food was outstanding, the staff so friendly and helpful, especially Tina! If I could give you more than 5 stars I would! And, that's not all the breakfast the next morning. Oh my word, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! You are brilliant and so is your hotel.

  Nice place little bit noisy if you are on front of hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Good place value for money
