  The charity trust controlling the lease to the ground is being put into voluntary liquidation by the "owner" of Clapton FC - this has been stopped through the actions of the fans. Do NOT attend any Clapton home games as any gate/bar taking will be used to force through the liquidation - jeopardise the future of this, the oldest senior football ground in London.

  Fantastic experience watching the East London derby between Hackney Wick and Clapton FC on non league day 07/10/17. Plenty of noise made by the Clapton ultras and a big crowd made it a spectacle. The stadium was a bit run down and neglected though and the game wasn't of much quality. Still it gets five stars because the stadium was unique and the special occasion.
