  Nice staff and wonderful food some of which is home cooked. Regular menu with specials that do change. I love the homemade chicken and mushroom pie special. I wish it was on all the time. Veggie lasagne is lovely too. The portions are huge so do not go mad when you order. I can never finish my meal it's that much but tastes great. The only issue I have is that in the winter it can be a bit cold so wear a jumper! Hence 4 stars. Popular place so book a table. They do Sunday dinners and on those days other menu is more limited to make space for all the pots and pans. We go there a lot.

  Service was okay, it’s half self service at the bar. Food was also okay - nothing special and a bit heavy. It’s probably one of the best in that area, there aren’t that many places around. I suppose I’d drop back in if I’m in the area.
