  Went as party to wedding nearby. Pub itself is nicely decorated and cosy but most the rooms are not! Would be just okay if budget priced but rooms priced to compete with better quality rooms elsewhere, making this a poor choice. On the plus it was warm, has a big car park and views of the river and we just needed somewhere to sleep. We had a decent breakfast too, hence 2 stars.

  Very nice, relaxing place to to stay. The owner was very helpful with our electric car, he let us charge it over night because we couldn't find a charge point anywhere near by. Marked it down to a 4 star because the wifi was terrible. Such a shame because it would have got a 5.

  I need some where to say after my best friend wedding in August, This place was the nearest to the venue. On the day of the wedding my partner droped our bags off first, when i saw him later in the day, I asked how is the Riverside inn, He said the bar and setting was nice but the rooms where noathing to rave about. The Morning after after the wedding i had woken up a very sleepless night. The main door was very thin, so i could hear every time, the people next door to us leave the room. There was some odd markings on the ceiling and the walls. The bathroom was just awful, I had to wear my flip flops to the toilet. I am very surprised that I even deared to go into bathroom! I said to my partner, that i wonted to go home straight away, so I could cleaned my self, because i felt very dirty. I would Not ever stay here again. I would not recommend any one to stay here either!

  Sorry to say that the bedrooms were horrible!! They smelt, had paper thin walls and I found hairs in the shower area which weren't ours 😭. The glasses were dirty, the curtains were falling down. The tv hardly worked and we Couldn't stand being in there for one more minute! We heard a man talking in the morning and though he was in our cupboard, not in the room next to ours. You could hear everything. My friends also stayed and their room was the same but smelt even worse! This is more of a hostel then inn/hotel. Can't comment on food etc as we left as soon as we woke! Yuk! Sorry, but won't be going back. Nice staff though and lovely view. I'm trying to leave it on a positive but it's quite hard!

  DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Walls very thin, could hear neighbour snoring, ALL NIGHT. The corridors smelt of stale cigarettes despite the no smoking signs stuck on the walls. The room itself was OK for size, and the bed was surprisingly comfy, & the staff seemed quite friendly and welcoming, that was the only positive. The bathroom looked old/dated and unclean, and smelt of dirty drains. I didn’t use the shower, as I felt I would be more unclean using it. The carpet was dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off, there was a hole in the wall. There was a nail sticking out of the floor, which I stood on and injured my foot. When I went to check out there wasn’t anyone available, so I left my key with a cleaner, who seemed quite confused as to why I was there. The place could do with a good clean, and a refurb. I also upgraded to a nicer room, I hate to think what the basic rooms are like.
