  Food is great but, for space and comfort it is better to take away. It can be a bit cramped to sit in and sometimes cold. Lovely staff.

  Can’t fault the food or service in the past here, we are local people. However arrive for lunch at 1.30 today to be informed that the kitchen was closed for eat in despite us getting there that time before and especially that the place doesn’t shut until 2pm! Probably better to inform regulars should the times change.

  Peering in past it's understated exterior it's hard to determine whether it's a regular fish 'n' chip shop or if you're dealing with a high end seafood restaurant. Thankfully it's somewhere in the middle. You'd be hard pushed to find better cod, chips and mushy peas but you pay 15-20% more than you would at a regular chippy. Yet again, you get the luxury of table service and ordering beer or wine to wash it down with. A modern take on a British Classic.

  Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had in Cambridge. This place serves up delicious crispy battered fish and moreish chunky chips with a nod to sustainability and local sourcing. Student deals and gluten free options are also available. This is not your standard fish and chip shop, however, with alternative options including fish stew, seafood and a wide range of fresh fish. The smoked haddock fish cakes are a cut above your standard bland fish-shop fish cakes. The eat in options are also fantastic, and I’ve been back several times for their superb tuna steak burger with wasabi mayo. Portions are large and can be enjoyed with a glass of wine. Overall highly recommended for a delicious traditional or alternative fish supper, only thing that needs a bit of improvement is their mushy peas!

  Had the large cod fillet (£8.95). The quality of the fish was superior. The tartare sauce was probably the best I’ve ever had. The mushy peas (£2) were nothing special, arguably inferior to most I’ve had. The waitress was really sweet and attentive. I liked the atmosphere and the fact that they sell fresh fish. I love that smell... I came away full and happy, just thought 9£ for a piece of fried fish was a little dear..even if it was large and delicious. I would return and try one of their specials on the chalk board next time, they all sounded delicious!!
