  Consistently great roast dinners. We always get a big portion of beef and vegetables, with a generous side dish of roast & chipped potatoes, plus Yorkshire puds. My friend prefers the Scampi and Chips. Also, on this ocassion, we had room for a dessert. The Sherry Trifle portion was twice the size you usually get at other restaurants & the warm Chocolate Cake with cream was rich & filling. This is a regular eating place for me with different groups of friends.

  Superb. We were there on New year's eve. Drink on arrival. Great food and plenty of it. Group and disco. The staff couldn't do enough to help and served us with a smile despite the fact that it must have been difficult watching everyone else enjoying themselves while they were working. And all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back.

  Great if you just want a good home cooked meal not made by you deserts are to die for as long as you are not on a diet

  found a long hair in a steak pie, refused to offer a replacement, just changed the plate. Said no one in the kitchen has long dark hair. treating me like i planted my own hair in.my husband food. its way longer and thinner than my hair !
