  Good restaurant pub ₩ith above average,reasonably priced §election of food on offer.Found the alcahol drinks on offer rather on the expencive §ide. Fair beer gardens at the rear.

  Good food at reasonable prices and good selection of ales. Friendly, helpful staff, good place for families.

  Cosy pub, friendly competent service, good solid meals. The vegetable soup, roast pork loin, hunters chicken, and garlic mushrooms we had were really lovely, as were the nice crusty rolls.

  Good prices, large children's meals but burger was too tough for little teeth. Long wait. Otherwise good. My advice, get your order in early and make sure you're clear on how you want your child's food cooked.

  Had a meal here this evening. Warm rolls and butter whilst we waited, lovely burgers, chips and battered cod that were all homemade. Desserts always stunning here aswelll. All really good value and much more reasonably priced than other pubs and restaurants in Newport. Have been here before for evening meals and Sunday lunch and food always lovely. Great, friendly service and a nice atmosphere aswell. Will be back soon.
