::Lovely interior with a real log fire . Great food and good variety of choice on the menu.home made Pizza are delicious. The beer is always spot on and great offers on house wines. Your always met with a friendly welcome. Which all make this pub a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it

::Hardly ate my meal, my cod in batter was more like poached fish as there was hardly any batter on it, portion sizes are small and its not cheap to be honest for pub food. I went home starving. We waited ages for the food as well as they said the oven had gone off. Lovely pub inside and the lady who served us from behind the bar was friendly. We took my aunt and uncle as they where over from Oz and they were even disappointed. Would not go again, we traveled from Standish to go here.
