  One of the more attractive Harvesters in the area. A lovely open plan restaurant around a working fish pond. Great food, stocked salad bar and working drinks machine. However, meal was spoiled by having children running around everywhere, unchecked, ignoring the privacy and space of tables and customers, and throwing plastic and pencils into the pond!

  Very nice and unusual building featuring a large inside pond. The harvester is a good Family eatery. Free salad bar and refillable help-yourself soft drinks make it an affordable option while the range of food and quality is decent.

  The food was absolutely awful. Four of us dined at the restaurant and all of us said the same thing. The salad bar was lacking choices and had not been kept clean and tidy. The restaurant has poor heating and without exception, all the diners had to keep their coats on. We did complain to the waitress who went to tell the manager. He never came to talk to us but gave us a 20% discount off of our bill. However, the 80% we did pay certainly did not cover what food we could pick off our plates that was edible. We shall not be returning to this Harvester restaurant and indeed, doubt we would go to any Harvester restaurant if given a choice.

  Was seated quickly and food was brought out quickly. The food wasn't overly nice and the kids meals was just dumped on the plates. Some of the food was only warm at best. It wasn't overly busy so no real excuse for it. Won't be coming back to this harvester again.

  Not too bad for a value for money family meal. Always practical with the salad cart, and hungry young children. Portion sizes seem to get worse and worse for the price being paid. On this occasion, the waitress told me that the meal combination I asked for wasn't available. It was, and clearly written in the menu. Fairly rude and stern response from the waitress that I couldn't have what I'd asked for, so not the best experience on this occasion. Usually fine though.
