  Ticks a lot of boxes. Good food, real ales, and pleasant service. Also a great stop-off if walking/cycling along the F&C Canal.

  Amazing food and staff, I take my toddler and they always make her welcome. I would recommend everyone try here

  I would give this place 2.5 stars if I could, it’s very middle of the road. Not bad, not good. However, I rounded up as 2 felt a little harsh. I would probably go again for a drink and a snack. In the summer the out door area would be good. Having said that, the service was slow but the staff were pleasant. The food was mediocre and generally sounded better than it turned out - maybe trying to be too fancy? The pizza wasn’t great, I wouldn’t have that again. It’s part of a chain, and I guess that feels very obvious.

  Great pub. Allows dogs to bar area and is great to sit in after a walk down the canal. Vegetarian options a bit slim and food a bit basic but great for a meetup place and catch up.
