  Been here a few times for food and just drinks. Large pub with a separated bar area and restaurant. Both can be busy but not fully packed, on the occasions I've been. St Austell / Bath Ales linked pub and has a good selection of the respective ales. All been good quality. Otherwise a large array of spirits, wines, lagers and soft drinks. Food has always been good quality and around the 10-20 price margin for mains. Small car park attached to the pub, but some of the local side streets can be used ( not sure of parking permits etc) . Although these streets get busy with commuters.

  Lovely little place. Great food and wines to match. Rooms were very comfortable. Certainly an extra effort made to make you feel special without being in any way intrusive. Highly recommended.

  Decent pub that you can't really miss if you've lived in or around Bristol for any length of time given the prominent position on the crossroads. The food is good and the staff friendly. A good bet for large groups if you are looking for a stop on your way into town as there are plenty of tables and nooks in the old place.

  Freundliches,zuvorkommendes Team. Sehr schönes,uriges Ambiente/Pub. Kleines Hotel,deshalb angenehme und ruhige Atmosphere beim Frühstück. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

  Much improved since my last visit, admittedly a few years ago. The outdoor seating is a very nice touch. The pub has a very nice feel about it now with a good atmosphere. Really liking the new decor. A very good menu far away from the generic chain pub menus and a good range of beers. Friendly bar staff
