  Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time! Rooms are clean, cute and have everything you need. Hotel staff is very attentive. Pub downstairs has amazing food and servers are very warm and friendly. Would definitely go back again and again!

  Characterful pub in the heart of the old town offering good value, tasty fayre and we'll appointed bedrooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good value for money - and a welcome change from the usual big-chain alternatives. Be prepared for a bit of city centre late night noise at the weekends ... but nothing too disturbing. Worth booking the restaurant on a Friday evening to take advantage of the live music in the bar 6-8pm whilst you eat.

  Stopped in for a quick dinner and was not disappointed. Good selection of beer and ciders and a decent pub menu. I ordered the fish and chips with some butternut squash soup, all were delicious.

  Extremely good food - and not expensive; £12 for a burger and the best chips I've ever had. Excellent table service from Carla. Highly recommend this place.

  Great place, nice old building, top location. Rooms very comfy, breakfast was really nice. Staff were very friendly. Recommend a stay here.
