  A charming comfortable place great breakfast. Paul was great very friendly. I hope stay again soon will recommend to family and friends

  Two-room B&B Tim by one bloke as far as I could make out. Clean and quiet but convenient for the York park & ride. Full English was good, plenty of cereal and toast available too. Bed very comfy, rooms clean and well-maintained. Would be happy to return.

  Excellent host, comfortable and nice room with a small lounge area. Excellent breakfast. Wish I had my fishing gear with me. Lake looks great.

  We had a lovely stay at The Willows, comfy bed, beautiful view of the lake and wild life. Our host was attentive, and friendly offering advice about the area. Breakfast was very tasty with double yolker eggs, and filled us up for the rest of the day. After reading some of the negative reviews I feel I want to say, yes we were asked to remove our shoes, but this was perfectly acceptable because this was someones home and we were guests in it, plus I always take my slippers !!!! Yes we did eat on the landing but with beautiful views and this meant we were away from the family giving them and us privacy. We weren't in their "space" or indeed them in ours. And just to finish we have already recommended The Willows and will be returning. Thank You
