  Maybe I'm being picky but there are signs saying no cycles and also to keep dogs under control. On our visit we had to keep stepping aside to let cyclists pass by and saw one dog go after the swans and the dog owner do nothing to attempt to control the dog. Because of the amount of dogs and couldn't-care-less owners, there was a fair few piles of dog muck to watch out for while on the circular walk. Not all dog owners are careless but you do have to watch where you're walking. Currently £1:70 to park your car.

  Quite a big park with a long walk around the reservoir. Lots of ducks that children seem to love interacting with. There's a Lakeside cafe there as well. Be warned that there is only one toilets and showers facility on site which is restricted for use by the campsite users. Good for nature photography but not for sunset shots.

  Thrybergh country park is a hidden gem in Rotherham. There is a lovely walk around the lake which is good for buggies and wheel chairs. There is a large variety of wildlife and beautiful scenery. There are plenty of fishing platforms around the lake. There is a choice of places to eat a cafe which sells jacket potatoes, sandwiches,cakes etc. There is also an ice cream parlour with a soft play area for the kids. There is also an outdoor play area. A very enjoyable day out.

  I LOVE this park! I've always gone twice, both during winter, but it is always such a wonderful time. The birds are so lovely. Many of the swans were very brave and would allow me to pet them, of course so long as I had good seeds for them to feast upon. There is a nice variety of waterfowl and some pigeons. It is enjoyable to see all the different species of ducks and it was fun trying to identify the ones I didn't know. The park itself seems to be well maintained. Walking around the whole path I did not see much, if any, trash; the grass and trees also were kept up with. There is also a small children's area with some basic playground toys giving young ones a nice opportunity to burn energy and have fun. The cafe and shop were also quite nice though I did not have the opportunity to dine at the cafe.

  Ah we love this place. Kids enjoying to walk around the lake although enjoying play area and same time feeding the ducks act. There's although a coffee where I have my latte while kids can have some indoors play. Yes lots fun in there , we go once a month .
