  Our regular Chinese dinner spot (So’s Kitchen) was closed temporarily so we decided to look on Google for another. Reviews for Tiang seemed favourable. First thing to say is that the restaurant’s deco is sublime and pleasant. Space is a premium and the tables are fairly close together. Upon looking at the menu, we could see that the dishes are made for western tastes. The food we ordered, chicken/cashew nut (Kung Po chicken), sweet & sour pork and veg wasn’t terrible, but it was ordinary and uninspiring. Dare I say, we could have cooked these dishes ourselves at home to a similar standard. Portions were meagre and overall, it wasn’t a dinner we were left satisfied with unfortunately. Perhaps it was an off night that day. We may come back another time, but it will not be in a hurry.

  I have visited the Tiang several times in the last twelve months & enjoyed each one. It's clean with good food & good service. The staff are pleasant & efficient. We share 2 meat dishes, 2 veg & one rice; we have a beer & desert each all for under £30 each.

  Fantastic experience from start to finish! We were greeted by a friendly smiling waitress and shown to our seats. The restaurant was immaculate and clean, carpets nice and fresh. The table was set with clean crisp fresh linens. The menu is all you can eat dishes from a set menu or a la carte. We chose a la carte. Food was good! Hot plates and dishes provided, no cold food here! Food was reasonably priced as were the drinks. Would definitely return here 😃

  Wonderful restaurant with equally wonderful delicious food and polite, friendly staff. It's a favourite in our family and we come back again and again for excellent food, atmosphere and service.
