  Lovely, family-run business, who were excellent when we needed advice. Completed perfect memorial, which was exactly required. Many thanks to all staff.

  This company's work is sloppy & unprofessional. I brought them a piece of marble for 2 small holes to be cut to mount a piece of sculpture but the holes they cut were too large & cracked the stone in half. Then they lied & told me the crack was there to begin with. The glue they then used was left all over the stone & the sculpture was very poorly mounted. This could not have been a simpler job & they could not have done a worse job of it.

  This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Sadly our 3 year old daughter passed away in July after a ten month battle with cancer. We instructed Tilleys stonemasons in Brighton to make an urn for her ashes in October, they lost the paper work for 2 weeks, only finding it after we had called them to say we had not received their design. We finally received the design paperwork a month after we had placed the order. Only to see that they had made the design wrong. The company then spent another month making the urn giving us ever changing completion dates. Finally the urn was completed middle of Dec ready to have a black piece of marble placed into the front of the urn. When i went to pick up the urn the black inlay fell out, the cut for the inlay was terrible not even straight and the edges were all chipped. When i asked why it had been done so badly, i was told that was the best they could do as they had to do it by hand, as they do not have the correct instruments to cut the opening correctly with a machine. The receptionist was the most rude woman i have ever met and seemed to have no sympathy with the tragic situation we were in after the death of our daughter. The sad thing is we have had to instruct another stonemasons to make an urn for our daughters ashes, so we will not be able to bring her home from the funeral directors for Christmas. Please do not confuse this review with Tilleys stonemasons in Worthing who we have used and have always been a very helpful and very high workmanship.
