  Great place for a roast dinner/carvery. All the usual meats, beef, turkey, pork etc. Plenty of tasty vegetables frequently replenished. HUGE Yorkshire puddings. Lots of vegetarian options too, but I tend to go for the meat free option & fill up on all the vegetables. They have refillable soft drink option, so you can keep topping up your Pepsi, lemonade etc. All in all, great place for families.

  Great pub, ales are normally well looked after and the atmosphere is friendly. The quiz on Thursday is always a lot of fun. The restaurant is pleasant with good portions and very tasty

  Always had a lovely carvery then had a small portion of meat asked for more and was given a small bit that had fallen off another bit. Went again and it was even worse this time given a young child's portion very thin slices only 3 asked for a thick slice and she took meat off the plate and put a smaller piece on. Absolutely shocked won't be going again and would not recommend it.

  First time I've been since the new layout. Looks like someone whose day job is designing mazes was hired to design the interior of this restaurant. There are more pinch points than someone testing the size of their muffin top after dining here. Sat on a table by an inaccessible terminal, next to a noisy door which was in constant use. The staff seem to like SLAM DUNKING the empties into the bins, so prepare yourself for that. The food is pretty good and prices are reasonable. Staff seem to be overworked, but isn't that the case everywhere now?

  Went for mother's Day. Booked a table for 5 to arrive and told it wasn't ready, when asked how long it would be the gent said 10/15 minutes....was basically how long is a piece of string response, couldn't find the point in booking if this was the case. Food was okay although not a good selection of veg in my opinion. For a meal it's fine
