::It is a great place. Excellent location for the south west. It was very quiet and dark for sleepling. View of sheep and lambs from the room was great!!

::Basic but functional room. Not high on amenities but not high on price either. Good for a one night stop over but not much else.

::We have stated here twice on New Year's Eve. Brilliant value, clean and spacious rooms with pleasant decor and nice view of woodland at the back. Staff pleasant and helpful. Can't really fault it. They have upped their game, no longer just "a bed for the night". Impressive.

::Arrived at reception and was given the key to a room. I asked if it was a 'quiet' room and was told, "Not really. It's the room just on the other side to the reception main door." This meant that every guest, entering and leaving reception would do so via this door with the usual, allowing it to bang closed. I asked for a quiet room and was given the key to a first floor room. Why not just do that in the first place rather than having to deal with the inevitable complaints from the first room? Room was fine with the usual Travelodge decor. Slept well, warm and comfortable. Only other criticism was that the dial dispensers at both the basin and the bath/shower were empty.
