  Overall quite disappointed with our visit to the Peterborough branch. Visited Turtle Bay twice before in Nottingham back in a few years ago, where both times I ordered the chicken burger which I remember being really tasty and coming with a really nice pineapple coleslaw. I'm not sure if there has been a menu change since then, or it's down to visiting a different branch, but the breaded chicken burger looked like it was from a supermarket freezer section, with a pitiful amount of pulled jerk chicken on top. The whole thing lacked any flavour and I had to compensate by putting a large amount of jerk BBQ sauce on top. The coleslaw was also not as nice as I remember, really lacking on the pineapple and just tasted like regular coleslaw. If this was my first visit to the franchise then I definitely wouldn't come again. On the other hand, my partner ordered the Curry Goat One Pot which was a lot nicer than my meal, and the crispy chilli squid starter was tasty too. Maybe it was just a bad day, but avoid the chicken burger if you're after something tasty.

  Amazing food. Great service from a very busy young staff. Excellent cocktails. Quite busy. Just been back months later. Still excellent. The food was amazing, and the staff were wonderful. There were a couple of issues with products unavailable and so on, but both the waitress and manager were wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough, especially the rum cocktails

  A TRULY EXCELLENT FEED IN FUN AND VIBRANT SURROUNDINGS. These guys have got it dead right, The Curry Goat was a triumph and the Seafood (spicy) was every bit as good. I just can't wait to re-visit.

  I went to turtle bay with a friend on a Friday night. It was heaving, but we managed to get sat down within a couple of minutes. Shortly after our drinks order was taken and then our food order. Our food came out quickly and service was great. There's literally nothing we could grumble about. Our server was Enda, and he was very friendly and accommodating.
