Staying at the hotel on my way down to Plymouth. Nice friendly reception...great room with a lovely bed and bathroom. Really nice local pub atmosphere and a good restaurant. Would totally recommend this place for a one night stop over or a long term stay whilst exploring the area. If I could I would give it ten stars! Oh and I am not family or related in any way just appreciate quality when I experience it.

I was treated to a birthday meal here. Had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious, couldn't have been better. Can't wait to go again

What a wonderful and friendly place . Staff made us feel right at home. A good selection of food and the bar was to my surprise different .. free parking and beautifully kept grounds. Dog friendly outside seating and some qurkey displays outside. Thus is a restaurant come pub . Price is perhaps a little topped but I was happy. It's 47 seconds from the A38 so give it a go unless you like KFC.. there is also a handy ingress portal in the grounds .

The mill is just far enough from the A38 to enjoy the garden in the summer but close enough to stop in on your journey. That said that this well deserved popular location should be booked in advance if you want to be sure of a table. The mill retains it's charm from its original purpose even utilising an old lister engine to make bread. There is a good selection of quality food on the menu which is presented with care and attention to detail that adds to the whole experience. Needless to say the staff are polite and helpful and make sure you are well attended. Definitely worth a visit at any time of the year.

Lovely. Good food...a bit pricey for what it is, especially the starters. Atmosphere is smart, warm, comfortable and verging on special. A nice place to soak in the atmosphere and try the gins...if only I wasn't driving. Apparently there are six lobely en suite rooms. I visited for dinner and loved it. I shall return 😊
