  ‪Can’t thank the staff at Blackheath enough for all the help and support they have given us recently for our pets. Wouldn’t trust them going to any other Vets!‬

  We recently had a cat spayed at this vet practice. The spay wound opened up a week later and became slightly infected. This is something that can happen, doesn't indicate poor practice and wouldn't warrant criticism. However, I was very disappointed that the practice wanted to charge us for the cat to be looked at, anaesthetised and the wound cleaned out and repaired when, at most vet practices, this would have been part of post-operative care and done free of charge. We took the cat to Celia Hammond's clinic in Lewisham, where they charged us £36 to repair the wound & treat the infection with antibiotics.

  Highly recommended. My cat had an accident 2 sundays ago and we ran at this vet because it was open, so it was a random choice, but we have found a wonderful team and a very good doctor. We also had all the explainations we needed about therapy and medications: they were very kind and reassuring, very professional.

  Been here twice now and they have been great. They are very caring towards my dog which makes the whole thing a tiny bit easier when he is poorly! So far they have been very knowledgeable which is refreshing as previous vets just want to take your money! They are affordable and helpful.

  Great vets nurses and team. My new kittens and older dogs get the same loving care by using the vets care plan offered I find it affordable and covers those things you seem to forget about. As well as professional advice for me on caring for my pets. I was with a local vet who I found not very caring or have the ability to listen maybe just in it for the money and very expensive.
