Rooms great and staff fantastic but the restaurant let's it down. Dirty soup bowl. This was changed. The starters on the carvery good but the vegetables on the mains were bought in and cooked until they were dry and all the flavour removed. We notified our waitress and also the manager whose only reply was oh sorry no one else has said anything. No replacement in or reduction for poor quality meal. Desserts weren't much better either. Breakfast is a tired looking thing but cheap. My advice would be stay at the hotel but eat at the pub across the car park. Much cheaper and better quality.

Had a great night away. We stayed in the upper deck club room. They are excellent rooms with the comfiest kingsize bed and large flat screen tv. The bathroom was clean and the bath/ shower was excellent! When checking in I used the village app so I could check in 24 hrs before, and the app doubles up as your key to enter your room! I will definitely be booking again.

Lovely Hotel. Greeted by polite, friendly staff. Our room was really comfortable and the bed was very comfortable too. The only downside was the all you can eat breakfast. It was ok but I think there could have been more choice with the hot food. Maybe black pudding, hash browns, fried bread should have been available

Good location and nice room layout. Little dusty in places but overall tidy and comfortable rooms. Nice bed and good hot shower. Gym was having a makeover when I was there, but swimming pool and steam room/sauna were good. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. One let down was the fire alarm sounding in the middle of the night. Had an apology letter from hotel management but would have been nice to get a free drink for inconvenience
