::The finest cycle shop in the whole world. Andy and his team give consistent old school quality advice and customer service. If you want a cheap nasty bike go to Cowley Road, Warlands only sell good quality, well made bikes. Their servicing is second to none. What Haydon and those boys don't know about bikes isn't worth knowing! We've just treated ourselves to new bikes. Andy and Haydon gave us fantastic advice in choosing the right bikes. Didn't try to upsell anything we didn't need, in fact quite the opposite and talked us out of unneccessary gadgets and gizmos, saving us money. Really happy with our shiny new bikes.

::Finally writing this review. I had a second hand bike which I got repaired at Warlands, twice. On both occasions, I was charged more than quoted. While I'm okay with this, I feel it should be like a car service and the repairer should call to confirm I'm okay with the price. On the first repair, they never actually fixed the fault I asked them to. I still don't know what they did. When I collected it from the rack of bikes outside, the guy also knocked it over accidentally, causing the plastic mud guard to crack. It's an accident, sure, but maybe storage indoors would be better? On the second repair, it cost almost double the quote. I had the back wheel replaced which involves taking the casette off. While riding to work the next day, the whole casette fell apart; luckily this didn't happen while cycling on-road. I immediately took it back to Warlands and the manager (owner?) suggested it was my fault and it was likely not possible to determine whether it was a faulty repair job or a pre-existing casette fault; but that his workers would never repair it incorrectly. He said he'd let me know the cost if it was a pre-existing fault or not. He never called back and I had to call him. His general mannerisms were sarcastic and blunt, and he suggested that a mechanic fixing a car would charge for a repair, even if they had fixed it the previous day. I've since spoken to two other independent cycle shops, both with good reputations, who have said there is no way this was anything other than a faulty repair job. I am disgusted I was put in this position and would not return to this shop or recommend it.
