  First things first - it's quite a small Waterstones. Unlike many others this is on a single level and if you're looking for something unusual the chances are you won't find it here as they understandably seem to focus on what is likely to sell. Having said that the friendly staff will happily order items in for you, and their reserve and collect service (via the Waterstones website) is handy. It's a long, thin shop, with fiction down the left side, childrens books at the back and reference down the right, and is always busy and good for a browse. If you're after the latest bestseller you'll probably find it here, but if your tastes are rather more esoteric you're better off shopping online. Maybe one day the shop will be able to expand a little and the range will improve, who knows.
