  Was here for a wedding party and found it to be a good venue. Staff were helpful and professional at all times. No issues from a guest perspective.

  Had an overview stay here on a coach trip. Room was okay, clean and tidy, but room and hotel in general could do with a bit of a revamp. Dinner was plentiful with a choice of courses including vegetarian. Breakfast was similar. Staff were friendly and generally efficient. I suspect having three coaches turn up together put things under a bit of strain e.g waiting 30 mins after we finished our starter to be able to get our turn at the Carvery. We discovered that our paperwork said we were sharing our room with an unknown couple. Perhaps why we had been given a four bed room. Thankfully Receiption said this was a mistake. A leak appeared through the ceiling near reception shortly after arrival and later on a bucket appeared to catch the drips. So overall 3 stars for me. I don't know how much an overnight stay with food is but I would not pay too much to stay here. But it's still okay for an overnight stop.

  The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food included in the golf package deals is excellent. The hotel is in need of a little investment as it's a bit tired and dated in places. The two golf courses are great layouts and a pleasure to play, that said with a little reservation. The greens last year were dreadful, blamed on the weather. The greens this year are better, but, taking the time of year into account, could be a lot better than they are. More emphasis could be spent on improving the greens, making the stay at Wensum more of a pleasure.
