  Booked a cab day before for a 5.30 a.m for a half hour journey He's been late 30mins That completely ruined my whole trip Avoid please

  Be aware of this company! Yesterday I missed my flight because the taxi driver got lost twice ! The West End Lane Minicabs did not take any responsibility at all saying that the just sub contract drivers and as soon as you get into the cab they are not taking any responsibility for what happens next! When I confronted the manager BILLY he said that is not their responsibility to carry out background checks or skills of the driver and that they only take their share of the taxi fare! When I asked how they ensure the driver is capable and all the safety checks are carried out again the manager replied- "It's not our responsibility- we only get our share" . Personally I don't think it's safe- if they offer jobs to anyone without appropriate checks worse things than missing the flight can happen!!!

  Got a taxi at 4.30am, the driver was there early and got me to the airport quickly and safely for an economic price. I would use their service again.
