::The hotel was adequate for a two night stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. Ask for a room facing the sea or the sides, as the front faces a busy road with constant heavy traffic. The public areas look worn and tatty. The staff were friendly and helpful, however at times there were too few staff in the busy bar, and were clearly rushed off their feet. It was so busy the bar ran out of glasses! The hotel clearly needs money spent on it. A taxi costs £12 each way to Brighton during the day.

::Stayed here for one night and couldn't fault it! Rottingdean is nice little seaside town. Nice building right on the sea front, rooms are good if a bit basic, comfy beds, friendly staff, well stocked bar. Food was ok but not amazing!

::Not bad for a quick drink but food can take ages and not worth the wait.

::My favorite pub on the seafront. They have tempting menu to select from with some vegetarian options. Serves delicious fish & chips! Staff is lovely. Dogs are welcome too!

::I've been here about 5-6 times in the past year and the food has always been good. The serve is what you'd expect however when things don't go as you'd hope they always find a way to compensate any problems. The drinks are good and the views are very impressive. Would recommend coming here at least once
