::I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the administration of this surgery. I have been with this practice for many many years. It has been slowly going down hill over the past couple of years. They have no compassion and are often rude. Their ability to perform a competent job has been compromised. The referral of patients to be followed up and assessed by other medical practitioners is far from adequate, I had to chase an urgent referral up with the surgery on several occasion only to find they’d sent it to the wrong place, their error almost killed me. Thinking it was a one off and nothing serious happened from their error I let it go. This incompetence has since happened on a number of occasions and for my health I have had to leave this surgery, as have a number of very good doctors. The administration staff, the worst of whom is the surgery manager, Alyson Hicks, are to sole reason I have had to leave. They have caused me such stress my health is suffering all because they are incompetent. A patient should not have to chase up the surgery to make sure they’ve done their job. On one occasion they told me test results were clear when they were not and the consequences were very serious. This is a sad state of affairs. I’m so disappointed. I hope for those patients who remain the administration team are replace or retrained. They need to support the doctors not take over.

::I am ashamed to call this my doctor’s surgery now. When I phone for appointments the phone rings endlessly before somebody will pick it up and then just hang straight up again, so frustrating and this happened on countless times. The majority of the reception staff are rude and incompetent, for example we had some very serious test results in the family, waiting behind reception with an urgent note attached to it and they failed to even notify us of the results let alone the life-threatening urgent note that was on the results. I personally have been refused an appointment for my tiny baby as I would not divulge what it was regarding to the receptionist, when I mentioned that it was a private matter the receptionist was extremely rude and told me she refused to give me an appointment then. I am saddened to say that I could go on with the endless amount of errors from the reception team. It is also not worth your time of day to escalate anything to the practice manager, Alison. Frankly she only maintains the side of her staff and is equally as unhelpful. I will say that some of the doctors here are absolutely fantastic but due to the ridiculous hoops I need to jump through for myself and my family I am now considering a decision to leave this doctors practice after 31 years of being registered here. Feel let down and saddened that I am leaving this very harsh but fair review.

::Just had the ridiculous situation where a doctor from the surgery has phoned on our landline, my wife's mobile and my mobile and asked for his call to be returned. Have tried calling back within 5 minutes on all 3 devices but all that one gets is an out of hours message with no option of even leaving a message. The surgery also seems unaware of the existence of email to contact them, still it's only 2018 I guess.

::My family and I have been patients of this surgery since 2000 and I cannot praise the doctors and staff enough. We have needed to visit many times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. When I first joined I found particular receptionists extremely rude, but thankfully they have now left and the receptionists are mostly extremely warm, friendly and helpful. My mum belongs to the surgery next door and I have sat in on some of her appointments. I always left feeling quite deflated and that the doctors lacked compassion. I keep telling her to join my surgery and hope that one day she will agree. Hope this review is more helpful than the one sentence, ignorant, negative reviews posted on here
