::Don't rely on the website for correct information about the services, as you can get there for a clinic to find it's been stopped altogether. 14.03 edit to note that since my original post the page has been updated! However while the day and times have been removed the information still implies the clinic takes place. And this is on the health centre site, not a third party link.

::Dowdy and got everything wrong! Very poor. First visit and maybe my last. The one star goes to the lady on reception as she was nice. UPDATE: Doctor Ahmed (Partner) has within minutes personally contacted me, apologised and assured me that he will investigate and ensure that the service going forward will be the best possible. I appreciate Dr Ahmed promptly addressing this review and I look forward to meeting him in the future. ****.Update 26th January 2018**** I’m delighted to be able to say that during the past two years I have both witnessed great improvements and most importantly received excellent medical care at Wilmslow Health Centre. Dr Ahmed and his colleagues certainly endeavour to continually improve the service they provide. It can’t be perfect and at times it’s difficult to book an appointment, but I guess we all acknowledge the pressure GP’s are under. Nonetheless I can now honestly recommend the centre.

::I have no issues with the standard of care the practice provides. However, getting an appointment or repeat prescription has become so difficult during the course of this year that it really spoils what would otherwise be a good surgery. In the past month I've had to pay for a prescription for the wrong item, and therefore of no use to me, and today I've been told that repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone, despite a request being granted over the phone only two weeks ago.

::Gave 1* purely for picking the phone up . If you think you can get passed the receptionist then think again. No appointments by phone..oh well attitude for results of important test result...couldn't careless!

::I have been a patient for years but very worried about the practice. It is very hard to get an appointment - the practice seems to have taken on more patients than the doctors can cope with, every time you go there is a different doctor, the phone isn't answered for long periods of time, and the in-surgery pharmacy is hopeless. I used to use the telephone booking system which was great, but now you are only given the option is making an appointment with one particular doctor (who I don't want to see) this is no good and I am forced back to hanging on the phone hoping it will be answered. Hope this the practice gets itself sorted out soon. There needs to be a proper balance between taking on new patients and the needs of patients the surgery already has.
