  we went for a stag do meal and were told the organisers cancelled our meal... the staff here were awesome... they made our day by providing anyway... thank you

  Went for food. Tasted good and all was a reasonable cost for how much you got. Food came out quickly even though we had a large order and plenty of people were there. Nothing incredible but nothing to complain about either.

  Awful place. Was dirty and shabby interior. Staff rude, sprayed us with tablecleaner then flicked the food off the table on us. Food was very basic small portion and cold.

  Where to start? The cleaning staff was didn't even ask before starting to wipe our table, he just moved our stuff and did it... Terribly! Also, would it kill the staff to look like they're not suicidal? The food was terrible. I ordered the Giant Mixed Grill (medium rare), it's came massively over done and dry with no mushroom (which is advertised). A latte was also order and never came until I finally managed to pull a waiter's attention, it then took a further 10 mins to arrive. I appreciate it was busy, Boar Lane, but get your act together...

  Yates never really gives any surprises the food is always generally okay and everyone knows the drinks aren't too expensive started our Sunday night off in here and the staff where helpful and polite. It's also right in the centre of Leeds so a good place to set a meeting point with friends
