  Good location in terms of getting to London. Short train or drive. Large rooms however no towels in bathroom so will need to bring your own.

  No towels, mattress too small, prison beds, smelly corridor. USB sockets not working. I expected better for £57

  Great location within 2 mins of a train station into London and a huge country park. Bring bikes. Really friendly and helpful staff.

  This is reasonably priced,warm,friendly and has great coffee. The hostel cafe is frequented by walkers locally,boaters and people just wandering by. They also have people who hire out rooms for meetings,groups and conferences which seems to be thriving. It has laundry facilities and a Manager who is very much a people person which really makes a difference. She genuinely seems to be interested in people . I would highly recommend.

  Friendly staff. Rooms are basic but comfortable enough for a short stay, but somewhat dusty - a clean on top of wardrobes, corners etc would be a huge improvement. Some kitchens better equipped than others. Pleasant surroundings of canal and country park.
