  Fantastically helpful staff and very knowledgeable. It's quite a small shop so only has a limited stock in house but they are more than willing to order in items for you if they don't have. They are also happy to price match. As it's the only specialist camera store in York, it's definitely the place to go and is in a very convenient location in the heart of the city

  Kind, helpful service in this busy Independent. Fixed my Olympus M5 in 15 seconds without making me feel stupid even though my mistake was dumb. Good place for clear advice.

  Disappointing level of customer service. I went in looking to purchase a memory card and possibly a lens. After a few minutes I was acknowledged by one staff who was on the phone. The other finally asked what I wanted. I simply asked if they had any other memory cards to which he was abrupt and tried to tell me the Sandisk card I wanted didn't exist. I found him rude and unhelpful and he didn't even know his product. I didn't even bother asking to look at the lenses.. I will go elsewhere.

  Visited this shop with a couple of camera's in mind, but after talking to the salesman and being shown the difference of images, taken while we stood there, we left with a completely different choice. The salesman even allowed my wife to try the camera outside. A personal service you can only get from shop like this. Will not hesitate to return.
