  I've been to other branches of Zen lifestyle, so when I couldn't get a last minute appointment at my usual branch I thought I'd try here. I read the review about burnt eyelids but thought "nonsense" I've used their services often with never a problem, until I came to the brings field branch. BURNT EYELIDS INDEED! the same eyelash tint was used as in the other branches but this branch is clearly incompetent. The receptionist is extremely rude. I won't be returning. Believe me, find somewhere better.

  Zen Lifestyle is def place to go for expert attention therapies and advice as I have found in c 7 years mainly I've had various facial and body treatments in the Teviot or Hanover salons, tho sometimes in Bruntsfield In all, the therapists exude skilled competence and the delightful atmosphere exudes relaxation too! Although for various personal reasons I've not personally had treatments in last couple of years I would always go to Zen. I use their gift vouchers and recipients always speak very highly of their treatments eg pedicures, manicures facials/massages. Zen is the best for making you feel special! I can't speak highly enough of all aspects of Zen Salons. Go and try for yourself!

  Zen provides a very relaxed but extremely comfortable setting ......where you arrive with confidence that you will have the best possible experience. I have never left Zen thinking......it was OK, as I have in other places where I have had a masssage.....I always leave Zen feeling that the experience was excellent....for me it's the best place in Edinburgh to relax and experience masssage at its very best!

  I really wanted to like this place. It is clean, near home and the first time I went they did a great job on my eyebrows. Second time, they burnt my eyelids. I had nasty scars for weeks and it hurt so much that I couldn't wear any make up to cover it up. They apologised but I still had to pay the full price for it, which was almost twice as high as in most other places. Nevertheless, wanting to remember my good experience rather than the bad one, I went again. This time I got a different therapist and a different problem, as she took away far too much brow, leaving me with just a fine dotted line although I stressed that I was aiming for a full brow and only wanted a few stray hairs waxed off. Will not visit again.
