This can really be a hit and miss experience. The “digital eagles” (I hate that they have called them that) stand waiting to ask you what you are doing today. No issue with that. They always direct people to the automated service. ALWAYS. Don’t do it. The automated service needs sorting out over the next few years. I always go to the counter and the staff there are friendly and helpful. Always a smile and are happy to help. The queue can be rather long at times - so either wait or go for a coffee. Or suggest that one of the “eagles” gets there irritating selves round the back of that counter and helps out. Have been stood waiting whilst one person serves and those two idiots are desperately trying to get a generation of people who enjoyed getting telegrams to use an automated service. To see anyone about anything more than the counter stuff, you have to make an appointment. Do it from home! Save yourself a trip in! You will be able to avoid being pounced on by the guardians of the bank and turned away with an appointment for three weeks times. Doing it from home is quicker and you get better times.

Probably one of the worst Banks possible. Call directly, to the Philippines. Probably get to the Philippines quicker than getting a face to face appointment. Could learn so much from their competitors!

Visited this branch a couple of times since moving to Plymouth for uni. I had a frustrating experience with this branch because I needed to increase my student overdraft. Even for simple things I've spent a very long time queing and then only found out I didn't need to queue.

Very helpful service when needed. Though it can be very busy and queues are likely most days.
