Really refined dining. We loved every second of it. The staff were perfect; not in your face but always there to help. The food was delicious, as you'd expect and the atmosphere was brilliant, especially with the live pianist in the background, who wasn't trying to drown out conversation but just added a great ambience to the room. A perfect treat for our wedding anniversary.

Such a fun experience! We had to wait to be seated in the tearoom overlooking the street but it was worth the wait! Lovely fun decor everywhere and a tea we liked so much we brought it home to California with us! This is the only place we did tea anywhere in the UK (at least as a service like this) and it was a really great experience. It fills up fast and is quite busy, but everyone knows what they're doing both in the tea room and in the gift shop so everything runs like a well oiled machine.

Nice afternoon tea set in classic tearoom. Make sure you made a booking before you arrive and be on time. sandwiches and tea are unlimited. Scones are really good with jam. Especially the lavender one! love the gift bag after the meal too. Good ambience and experience. sometime to enjoy once :D

Visited here after hearing about it online, and it did not disappoint! We went towards the end of the day as there were queues down the street during lunchtime (as you'd expect!) There were two of us and we waited around 5-10 minutes for a table which wasn't too bad. Service was brilliant, drinks and food were both lovely. Would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely ambiance and lovely afternoon tea. A little expensive but it was a must go because of the recommendations by people who've been. They was also a live piano which made everything more pleasant. We tried the Yorkshire Fat Rascal, raspberry macaroon, their signature tea blend, hot chocolate, Swiss chocolate milkshake, ham sandwich which were great but the best one was the salmon sandwich.
