Very helpful only issue is the prices are rather high for children's first shoes

Took both my children in to obvioulsy buy some new shoes. On arrival we were met by 3 women standing in complete silence staring at us as if we had just landed on earth. When they decided that they would no longer play the parts of labotomist patients the younger of the 3 witches decided to serve us. She was blunt, unhelpful and seemed to know nothing about shoes apart from the fact they did not have any in stock. During this time one of the other women who was older and looked slightly more angry decided to tell my 1 year old off for picking up a shoe which she was struggling to put into a box. We finally left unhappy, disappointed with the service and a pair of overpriced shoes which did not fit my 3 year old boy even though she said they did. Would not recommend!!! Will make a pair for my children next time

Following our recent negative experiences in the Burgess Hill store we will never use it again. We gave it a second chance, but abrupt and unhelpful staff, and a very limited range of shoes and sizes mean that we will go to Haywards Heath in future.

I had a terrible experience in the Burgess Hill Clarks shoe shop this afternoon. I was with my 11 year old grand daughter buying school shoes. The sales assistant was rude and unhelpful. There was no where to sit, although there were two stalls behind a sale rail but both were covered with unsold shoes. I was shocked and disappointed. We said good bye and drove to Haywards Heath. The staff were so helpful, we tried on three pairs and buying the pair we wanted. I would not visit the Burgess Hill store again.
