  Brilliant place to stay, owners run a good ship, bedroom is well maintained and breakfast is nice! Location is also conveniently close to the city centre! So highly recommended!

  My son and I visited in July 2016 and we cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B. The hosts were amazing, the breakfasts were the best ever, and our twin room was very comfortable. It was great parking our car at the B&B for several days and taking the bus into town. No worries about parking. This was our favorite B&B on our two week trip - and it was all due to the owners, Nigel and Jane. Jane balanced the fine line between being very engaging, while giving us space at the same time. The guest rooms are in a separate part of the house so there is privacy, but there is a guest mini fridge stocked with drinks and a basket in the room with cookies and supplies for hot beverages. I highly recommend sending an email or calling and making a reservation. The best breakfasts ever!!!! Full English, Salmon and eggs, and several other options all with cereals, yogurt (in many wonderful flavors!), toast and jam. My son and I really felt spoiled during our visit. We stayed in many nice B&Bs but the friendliness and food at Finches really stood out. Thank you Jane and Nigel! (The garden was lovely too!)

  Highly recommend this wonderful B&B. Jane is a superb hostess who goes out of her way to be helpful and is always smiling. The rooms are clean water pressure in the shower is excellent. Beds are very comfortable. Seriously look no further, off street parking. 10 mins from Cambridge city centre by bus or a lovely 25min walk. You will not find better at this price

  Another wonderfully comfortable stay at The Finches. A warm welcome from Jane and Nigel; nothing is ever too much trouble. The accommodation is spotless, and has everything that you might expect from a hotel, but with the added bonus of the owners who genuinely want their guests to have the best stay possible. Fantastic breakfasts with masses of choice. The Finches is the only place to stay in Cambridge, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I'm already looking forward to mynext visit.

  It is a lovely bed and breakfast and a real family feel to the house! Jane and Nigel are the most welcoming hosts, and I believe would do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I stayed three weeks and absolutely loved it! Stayed in the twin and a double room, which were good sized, and had all the facilities that you could ask for (including PLENTY of hot water). Even came with a bottle opener. Even though its a B&B you get all of the flexibility you would from a hotel. The rooms are separate from the main home and you can come and go as you please! Breakfast was what you could wish for, they will cook a full English if you want it or you could go for an extensive continental range. It is a place where you feel secure and safe, and you do not get disturbed by traffic. For three weeks I walked in and out of Cambridge every day and it is not too far at all, a nice walk or bike ride in nice weather. If not there is a bus route right at the end of the road. Also, there are shops nearby so you are never without! Loved my stay, would recommend to my friends and family no matter the reason for their trip.
